;)

We don't drop in often, but needed a couple things fishing related. The granddaughter was up recently, fished the pond with one of her friends, and when Miss T and I went to replace the old line on all the reels, noticed they had lost the retaining screw on the reel handle of my old triggerspin authentic 11 zebco. Turns out that reel has been discontinued, and Zebco doesn't carry the parts any longer, but I ordered the part from Mike's Reels in Canada, Eh.

Miss T ordered a pair of Zebco 202 rod and reel sets, and we wanted to pick up a couple bait boxes to set up for the kids as well. :) Don't want my boxes scattered up and down the bank. 8-)

Passed by the gun counter on the way to fishing, checked for a Bolt Action 223.
Nope. Checked for soft point 308 for the pig gun. Nope. :o .22 ammo.

A dozen boxes of round nose lead plinkers. Milk carton packed, 325 per carton.
$38

CCI Stingers, 100 rounds in the classic hard plastic slide top tray... $13. Two on hand.

They had other misc 50 round cardboard boxes of 22, $5 - $6 per box.

I have a few rounds at home, can remember a box of 50 at around $1.
Doubt we will see that again.

Reload my friend. I have a good supply of primers and powder. I love to shoot .22 but when they are hard
to get I shoot my 9 MMs.
Our Wally World quit selling ammo all together. One of the fall outs of the Minneapolis riots last Summer.

Ammoseek on line for 22 ammo Coop. You can order it from Target Sports right now with free ship for a case of the Federal. I think its like 10.6 a round. Can get CCI direct from them free ship with 100.00 order. Isnt what they use to be price wise but cheaper than shooting 9mm even if you reload.

I agree. The price of .22 has come down and is available here and there.
I was shooting 9 MM when the .22 prices were out of sight. I could actually purchase 9 MM
cheaper than .22s then. I also reload it.👍

I reload 38, 357, 9mm, 40, 45. I have a dillon 550b that saw me thru a decade of ppc competition. I have a good supply of ammo and components, but have not shot since the move. Need to get the berm built for my range. Then... Whoo hoo. Watch out.

I was driving home from my son’s house yesterday and I saw a guy on the side of the highway with a big sign - AMMO. I didn’t stop as I had to make a turn just before I got to him but I have to say, that’s the first time I have ever seen that. Probably a scalper…..

Right now, I can get .22s. I can't get small pistol primers. If I were out, I would only be shooting .45 and .22s. FWIW, I don't shoot enough 9mm to make it worthwhile reloading at normal prices. I do shoot a lot of .38 and .357 magnum which use SP and SP magnum primers.
