Heading for Colorado

Post by Cofisher » Tue Sep 14, 2021 3:22 pm

It’s been nearly a year. I’m going fishing. I’ll spend a day in Denver, with daughter and g’son. Then, up to the hills. Meeting an old buddy at Clear Lake. Then over the hill to my sisters. A day with her, and south we go. Another old friend, fishing and shooting. Not sure how long. Have to be home in a week. Short, but sweet.

Will be thinking of you all. It doesn’t get much better.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Ya know? The older I get, the more that ‘be safe’ means. Thanks

When people told me to have fun and be safe I would reply which one do you want me to do because I can’t do both. If I was having fun I wasn’t being safe and if I was being safe I wasn’t having any fun.

I used to trout fish up in Missouri. Loved it. At the time there was a slot size where you couldn't harvest anything below a minimum and above a maximum size. Tasty though.....had to hide them from the racoons if you put them in the ice chest. The best thing was cook'em and eat'em or not spend the night at a camp sight. They would steal fish right out of the ice chest even if something heavy was put on the top. Have fun on your trip.
