Synthetic stock painted

A friend dropped a Savage Axis stock off to have it painted because he didn't like the black. He said to paint it any way I wanted to. I had my wife cut me out some oak leaf patterns for stencils for the camo design I wanted to go with. I painted it this morning and then hung it out on the porch all day to dry enough to get it back together. He stopped by a while ago with the barreled action and we put it back together and he is very pleased with it. Now a few days to fully cure and he can go shoot it. It may take a little extra time to completely cure with the humidity being high. Here is the finished job back together.

Very nice. I like the camo pattern. What type of paint did you use?

Rust-oleum camouflage paint and then Krylon matte clear for the final coat to give it a harder finish. It stays on very well if you get the stock cleaned well of any oils or waxes. I clean with lacquer thinner before spraying and it is a very good cleaner for getting off oils or wax. I need my wife to make my patterns a little smaller for the next stock job.
