Gunny, thanks fof those! I saw Merle in concert on his 50th BD. The Judd's rolled out a huge cake in the shape of his Telecaster with bottle of whikey on it. You KNOW what song he played next. That show had the Judd's opening, Merle and The Strangers 2nd with Alabama the head liner. Merle absolutly blew the doors off that place. Great performers all, but, the night belonged to Merle.

I had great respect for Merle, not only as a truly great performer, but also one of the great songwriters, not to mention a great guitarist and fiddle player. He was special.
