Sometimes heroes emerge
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Re: Sometimes heroes emerge
Watched interviews posted after. She'll fully recover. He called HER a hero.
(After her initial mistake,) not part of HIS statement,
He noted that she rolled with the gator's death roll, saving her arm from dislocation, or him tearing the hand loose.
Then she remained calm, instructed him to straddle the gator to prevent additional rolls, and once he released her, instructed him on HIS safe evac from outside the pit, while others made the initial eval of HER injuries.
