Tom T. Hall passed away Friday, he was 85. My favorites were I like beer, Old Dogs, Children and) Watermelon Wine and I Like; my grandchildren sing along to his songs on a cd!

The thing I always loved about this song was his editorial comments between the lines....

The Story Teller. Nobody could do it like Tom. Those folks with harps are gonna have some serious competition. His departure is a blow to humanity, but maybe he can fix things from up yonder.
