Got an email teaser today, Sandford announces a new SERIES coming out featuring Letty, Lucas's adopted daughter. True PREY series fans knew it was coming. This is the content of the email, minus the photo of the book, due April 12th, and some AD content I deleted, plus the link to preorder, which didn't transfer. YES, I preordered. Amazon doesn't charge until they send the book to my Kindle in April. You can probably find the link on Amazon or on Sandford's Website if you too are a fan.

I am a huge fan of John Sandford. I have all of the books he's written and enjoy them immensely.
I especially like Virgil Flowers.

I have read, and re-read all the Prey, Flowers, and Kidd series, and a couple one-offs. Most are excellent, the characters become more and more like family. I always look forward to each new release.

It all started in our locality of Minnesota and the places do exist. Now he's branched out to other parts of
the country as well.
Love his style and the humor he interjects from time to time.
Like the time his wife Weather drove through the garage door and claimed it was because of a brown out
making the door opener work more slowly.

He started off as a writer for the Minneapolis Star and Tribune, which we refer to as the "Red Star".
He did win a Pulitzer working there. I think now he lives in California.

I like the humor on the side as well.
My favorite, the old ladies growing poppies, brewing "tea". A puzzle. Illegal, but arrest a bunch of garden club grandmas?
End of the book everyone goes on vacation and all the old women "turn themselves in" to Lucus.
