Black powder shoot

Post by mlrifleNY » Fri Jun 18, 2021 3:49 pm

I will be off to my first black powder shoot in almost 2 years this Sunday. I don't expect to do near as good as I used to, no practice and not the greatest of health. I will as always be using a flintlock, and I will also be having fun.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Once you get to a certain age, winning is not why you shoot anymore. It's all about having fun. Enjoy!!!

I went to the shoot and had a great time. Didn't shoot to well, but we all got to catch on what we were all up to over the last year and a half. Very informal shoot more to get back in the swing of thongs. There were 12 people there and over half were shooting flintlocks. We like our rock locks around here.

Check out the Black Powder Maniac shooter on youtube. He recently went to the Friendship shoot. He has a video of how many people were there and some great video of the guns there. Good to see people mostly back to normal in some places anyway

My wife says my "thong swingin'" days are long gone. "Move along, nothing to see here".
