The Westerner

Post by Shakey Jake » Wed Jun 16, 2021 3:31 pm

I found a series from 1960 that I just don't remember called "The Westerner". I guess it was based on the book and movie (1940's). Anyway, I've been watching/listening to it while working. It stars Brian Keith and "Brown" the dog. It's pretty good as it is directed by Sam Pekinpah. Does anyone remember it? I'm in the first season and not even sure if there was a second.

It's on TubiTv. It's free with commercials. Just have to sign on. Just watched episode 13 that had Madly Rhue and John Dehner in it. Quite a clever series. Evidently there were only 13 episodes but worth watching.

The name sounds familiar, but don't recall anything about it. In the 60s, I probably watched it.

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.
