Found this picture while searching for something else and wow it has been 47 years since it was taken!

Yep me and my wife back in April or May of 1974 before we were married. We still going strong with the 46th anniversary coming up in September.

Would love to go back and do it again!

I had recently bought a new 1974 Z/28 Camaro and think that picture was a road trip to the Blue Ridge Mts. I was in my 2nd year of Tool&Die Apprenticeship.

Thanks for the kind replies! My wife...Margie.... always reminds me that out of her 4 sisters we are the only ones still married to each other.
Somehow we meshed together very well over the years!

Just a couple of 70's kids still hanging out together. It takes a lot of hard work to keep it going. You guys are doing a great job.

Great times back then BC (before computers). Folks were happier then too! Oh and the hair...yeah I had a bit and luckily still do.

Thanks! I added the Pontiac T/A shaker scoop by making a baseplate for the air filter and cutting the hole in the hood. Other things were to bring the
350 L-82 engine up to the 1970 Z/28 LT-1 engine specs with the then new angle plug heads and the solid lifter cam and factory LT-1 intake manifold.

We bought a new 1977 Pontiac Can Am based on the Lemans Sport Coupe which had the T/A 6.6 engine also back in 1977. Only about 1000 or so were made before a tooling issue for the rear spoiler cancelled production. Did some tuning on that one and it ran well.

I have saved that picture for my screen shot on the computer. Me and wife would love to go back to those years but we enjoying these times too!
That picture gets me going better than any vitamin could!!!
