Way to go Grandpa. I can't think of a better present and you get to see the reaction.

Outstanding !

My grandson (10) has his Henry 22 youth, but has shot my Henry BB 357 with .38 loads and loved it. Don't know how old your GS is, but I guarantee it will bond him with the old many even more. Nicely done ! ! ! !

My old man never taught me )@(#$ about shooting or hunting, it was my grandfather King. I reflect on him more than the old man. We had a special bond because of it.

He is scheduled for his 2nd covid vaccine and anxiously planning a trip up north to see gramp's. I don't think it'll take long once that happens.
Thanks for the nice comments.

I have it written to which Henry goes to which grandkid, everyone picked their favorite (except one grandson didn’t want a Henry he wanted my left handed Benelli) so I need 1 more grandkid to take the last Henry.
I’m available for adoption.

Way to continue the traditions.

My grandfather gave me a single shot 22 when I was young. I taught my girls to shoot with one, but then moved them to a semi-auto Marlin. I gave that to my middle daughter. Her daughter got the Single Shot. :D

They live on a farm here in OK, where they shoot. The others live in suburban areas and rarely shoot anymore. I have guns designated for them, later.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
