Do you have a special place to buy gas to make it run like it should.

Well I designed the build to run on 93 pump gas and that is all I have run in it. With 10.3 compression, aluminum heads and 200 psi cranking compression it has run very well and not tempermental at all. Cruises nice at 1500 RPM in 5th gear.

A very unique system I installed using stainless steel 1 7/8 headers with 3 inch collectors...Kooks Headers. 3 inch intermediate merge pipe that functions like a mix of X and H- pipe...Flowmaster design. 3 inch Flowmaster Pro Series mufflers that use the laminar cone flow which cancels out most sound and drone but straight thru flow. Amazingly quite! Then tapered reducer to short 2.5 inch tailpipes that exit right at the rear of tire....sneaky!

I was wondering if you had a Ford or a Chevy.
Both had 427's.
I'll have to check out your video.
Car looks good.

Just checked it out. Sounds good. Glad to see that you have a Clutch Pedal in it. I like the Transmission whine too. If it were a Chevy, I would say that you have an M-21 or M-22 in it. What is the Ford version?

Trans is the Tremec TKO 600 5 spd. It has been in there a long time and been beat on at the track. Still shifts well.

I thought they sounded like Flowmasters.

Awesome. Nothing like the sound of a big block winding out. I'll bet that will push you back in your seat.

Hey 40, nice wheels ! Looks lie early 80's maybe around 82.
Interesting fact, my father in law worked for Doug Thorly Headers as one of the lead designers, and was given the job to design the headers for the second generation pony (Mustang II). I was driving a Doge Powerwagon with a 318 at the time and put on a set of Thorly headers, couldn't get them to seal, so I went to the factory in Industry. Turns out my to be father in law took them apart, re-designed them and the truck ran like a banshee.
3 years later, met and married his daughter. Who knew ! ! !
Looking at the work you did, you are a bit more than a shade tree mechanic. Very nice !

Those wheels are the 1999- 2001 Cobra wheels I picked up almost 20 yrs ago...how time flies! Recently put those back on along with a fresh set of Nitto soft compound road race tires. Before that I had the typical skinny fronts and larger 275x50 15 drag radials on the rear.
I run the big 2003 Cobra brakes up front.
About the Doug Thorly headers.... I built the first set of headers for the Mustang back in 1990 using kit parts from Doug Thorly!

Outstanding headers, unfortunately my father in law never thought much of me, he asked my wife the morning of her wedding if she was pregnant. She said NO ! He replied "Then there's no reason for you to marry that SOB"
And here we are still together after 45 years!
