Vacation coming soon

Heading to the Great Smoky Mountains. Leaving Mon. AM, Apr 12, return Thurs. Apr 15. Love that place, especially Cades Cove.
So peaceful, when the crowds are down. Shouldn't be bad now.
3 hour trip one way.

Good for you. I’m heading out on the 20th for three nights of camping and finding junk.

I'm sure you will have a great time! If the forcast holds true, you should have great weather.
I need to visit the park also. It's about 1 hr 45 mins from me, give or take.

Great place to visit! Takes us about 7 hours to get to the Pigeon Forge area.

I go there quite often, stay in Pigeon Forge, in a hotel overlooking the river, off the beaten path. Avoid Gatlinburg like the plague.
I like the nature areas. No need for little stuffed bears, LOL.
Give me woods, wildlife, mountain streams, anyday.

Have a good time Grunt Been there one time and want to go back if I can get my wife out for a road trip. Nothin wrong with a Saguaro forest either I like those big old cactus down there in AZ especially in the spring.

Outstanding place for some enjoyable R&R. Cades Cove is a great place to visit. My wife and I have visited twice and I would love to go back. Enjoy the trip.
