Must be talking to myself when ordering?
I inquired with 2 in state companies about making a couple of steel knock over targets for me....something you don't see often and it's been about 2wks. and no replies back on a sample drawing via email which they said they would do. One of them had made me several targets before. Maybe I'm in to much of a hurry? It's really nothing complicated.

Forty, Sometimes talking to yourself is the wiser option.
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

I'm surprised how some businesses even survive. They don't return phone calls or follow-up when they say they will. Then if you chase after them they act like they are doing you a favor. I just don't get it!

Re: Must be talking to myself when ordering?
We have had a lot of trouble lately getting callbacks from anyone, no matter the business, no matter the subject. We spent a lot of money at the local tractor dealer when we moved here, buying the tractor, bush hog, and several other implements, plus the zero turn mower to replace what we left behind in the move.
Tina called to schedule service on the tractor and bush hog, and the mower; and see about adding a rear bagger to the mower. So... $1,500. We had to call four or five times. I'm easy to get along with, and understand busy. The last call, I used my Marine Staff NCO voice and told the sales manager if they couldn't be bothered, the next twenty years of maintenance and upgrades could go elsewhere. I didn't care to be ignored. I got my call twenty minutes later.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Is one of those companys Make it Ring Targets Forty? I recently ordered a Buffalo target from Make it Ring. It shipped while I was in Texas. When I got home and opened the box out came a big piggie. Hmmmmm thought I ordered a Buffalo. Went to my email and emailed them. Megan answered me the next morning and I now have a Buffalo on the way. They did make it right and gave me a couple options on what to do. They do make nice targets

Im thinking you are looking for airgun metal targets. Without going to there site I dont know if they make the lighter ones but Shooting targets 7 does. They are veteran owned and a great place to buy from. I have some of theirs as well.Sir Henry wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 11:35 amThat’s good to know. They have great items and their accessories for hanging the targets are spot on. Nice to be able to order all of that stuff in one place.Sir Henry wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 11:40 amThanks Al. These look nice.

Re: Must be talking to myself when ordering?
Sent an email to the local guy that I had not heard back from and he replied he has been very busy with working two jobs the past week.
Said he should be able to start on my project next week. Will see how it goes...no money spent yet. He make the steel cowboys and bottles for the Saloon setup.
