National museum of military vehicles

If you have any interest in militaria, and happen to be near Dubois, Wyoming, this museum will rival anything you have seen in the past. Dozens of WW2 vehicles that are restored and operational, with the Korean and Vietnam wars being highlighted by this summer. The firearms collection is superb, with such items as the musket that fired the first shot at Bunker Hill, Patton’s personal sidearm, M60 serial number 001, and an example of every Winchester firearm up until 1964.
Plus, Dubois is a great little town in a magnificent setting.

Wow! That's really out in the middle of nowhere. I would love to go there though.

I'd love to see that, as you might expect, but Wyoming is a bit off my beaten path. Maybe in the next lifetime.
Wonder why they decided to put a military museum in Wyoming. It's not the first place that comes to mind when I think military.
