After my 1st Pfizer shot I was more tired than usual for a couple of days and had a slightly sore arm. They say if you have had Co-Vid your system is already primed so the first shot probably gives you as much protection as someone that didn't have Co-Vid would have after both shots. They do still recommend getting both shots, hopefully I will have no side effects from the second shot.

Kind of sounds like Co-Vid boosters are going to be the new normal, just like yearly flu shots for new strains.

interesting .... I've never heard that about protection form the first shot .... neither of us has had any shot related issues .... wouldn't be surprised at having to get a yearly booster

I’m confused here. If 30 million people had Covid19 wouldn’t it save 30 million vaccines?

Thirty million times two is 60 million. Half that is 30 million.

I think it was, is and always will be about the money. Companies, investors and a few elite astronomically wealthy stand to make countless billions more. Get ready for the 4th, 5th, 6th wave and more. To quote Buzz Lightyear "To infinity and beyond!"

Anyhow, to each his or her own.

No.

Yes, you should be vaccinated regardless of whether you already had COVID-19. That’s because experts do not yet know how long you are protected from getting sick again after recovering from COVID-19. Even if you have already recovered from COVID-19, it is possible—although rare—that you could be infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 again. Learn more about why getting vaccinated is a safer way to build protection than getting infected.

If you were treated for COVID-19 with monoclonal antibodies or convalescent plasma, you should wait 90 days before getting a COVID-19 vaccine. Talk to your doctor if you are unsure what treatments you received or if you have more questions about getting a COVID-19 vaccine.

Experts are still learning more about how long vaccines protect against COVID-19 in real-world conditions. CDC will keep the public informed as new evidence becomes available.
