A friendly place to talk about Henry Repeating Arms.....and just about anything else

We’re having similar problems in Eastern Washington State with the wolf re-introduction with deer and elk populations. Plus there is thousands of acres of National Forest land where ranchers have grazing permits. The wolves are killing calves and the state has actually put effort into eradicating some wolves in problem areas. Plus the ranchers are required at their own expense to hire range riders and other means of protecting their herds before the wildlife department will get involved. No hunting season in Washington but next door in Idaho there is some limited hunting available.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 9:07 amSome great videos. Not everyone is thrilled about all those wolves being introduced into Northern Minnesooota.
They are depleting the deer and moose population in some areas and the residents are losing dogs and cats.
There is a season on the wolf but that's also controversial. Lots of big city women want to protect them.
