Some great videos. Not everyone is thrilled about all those wolves being introduced into Northern Minnesooota.
They are depleting the deer and moose population in some areas and the residents are losing dogs and cats.
There is a season on the wolf but that's also controversial. Lots of big city women want to protect them.

Re: Trail Camera Wildlife in Voyageurs National Park
We’re having similar problems in Eastern Washington State with the wolf re-introduction with deer and elk populations. Plus there is thousands of acres of National Forest land where ranchers have grazing permits. The wolves are killing calves and the state has actually put effort into eradicating some wolves in problem areas. Plus the ranchers are required at their own expense to hire range riders and other means of protecting their herds before the wildlife department will get involved. No hunting season in Washington but next door in Idaho there is some limited hunting available.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 9:07 amSome great videos. CT, I tried to watch the video but didn’t have any sound. I’ll come back later and work on it. That’s some beautiful country and I really enjoyed what I watched without sound. Thanks for sharing.

I also see lots of stories about wolves coming out of Yellowstone and killing calves in Montana.
There was a reason for eradicating those varmints after all.
