I prefer regulations for firearms and, happily, I live in a state that provides clear regulations in that regard. Just for starters, the fact that there is no other Right that requires a fee to exercise it. And many people cannot afford the costs associated with required permitting and training, which are quite high in some States - on top of ownership costs. Agree. A right is not a right, if you have to pay to exercise it. But, some may look at firearms as a way to generate funds, kinda like taxes on gas and cigarettes. Just like cigarettes, some may be attempting to tax firearms out of some people reach?
