But, where are you going to find the ammo for it and if you can, can you afford the ammo? Looks like fun but to me it looks like a waste of good ammo.

Tippmann also offers it with a tripod for mounting in your truck bed. And another company has repro Colt Gatling chambered in 45-70 (if you have to ask, you can't afford it).

Sorry, but stupid is as stupid does! While it may be fun, it is not very wise!

Don't mean to be argumentative, but lot's of people have expensive toys. If they've got the money, why shouldn't they? :)

Agree, MaDuece is still king. Fun to shoot, but glad I didn't have to lug it around.

Yes, if you can afford a $5000 toy I guess you can afford the ammo, especially when it was $10 a box and you could find it. I think it would be as much fun and considerably cheaper to shoot in 22lr.

My friend in TX has a STEN, M2 Carbine and a full auto M16. They are a blast to shoot! The carbine wasn’t shot much because ammo for it was hard to find. I re-loaded 5,000 rounds of 9mm a we shot it all in one day in the STEN.

Gotta love Montana, Alaska and Texas. Those are the states he has been assigned in the Army. He can’t own them in Our home state of Washington.

While this Gatling is not my cup of tea I can appreciate it for what it is. Wish they made one in .177 pellet!

I had a friend in VA who was a collector. He had a water cooled, belt fed MG, an M79 Grenade Laucher, M60, 155, japanese artillery piece from wwII, and more. All were fully functional. He loaded them up and took them to the desert at least once a year to big shoots and had a blast. His only other vice were the seven 1970 "Vanishing Point" Dodge Challengers in his back yard. All in various stages of restoration. Expensive hobbies? Yup... But he paid his bills and had raised his kid. :D Didn't hunt, fish, or take cruises or vacations.

Sounds like a very fun collection to enjoy! Any of those Challengers have the 426 Hemi? Good friend of mine had a 70 Challenger..white of course and had a built Hemi installed. Not an original Hemi car but we had fun with grudge racing together with my little 427 light weight '85 Mustang LX.

my really good friend up the road a mile has a diesel shop and does a lot of work for me, but his
real passion is dropping big powerplants into old cars. He always has one or more in the shop
whenever I visit .

A couple of them would rattle the plate glass at burger king at idle. He didn't drive any of them much, just tinkered. His daily driver was a perfectly maintained old bronco. It had power as well.
