So what can be done with stale dried up old tortillas? Make bio-degradable targets out of them of course.

Well, it's not quite the pinnacle of my life.

In my house, tortillas NEVER get stale. Tortillas are like bread. One can put anything into a sandwich and one can put anything into a burrito too.
My fave sandwich is a peanut butter/tuna fish sandwich. (I can hear you guys going UGH right now).
My fave burrito is is more traditional, fajitas (hot beef with thin sliced bell peppers for you gringos!)
As for a good target, I know many of you eat pizzas, right? So save your pizza boxes and make targets on the bottom of the boxes.

With the way I cook a tortilla would be body armor.

It never ceases to amaze me the things this bunch can come up with to talk about.

I think that's due to our fairly high humidity here. Been up around 70% the last few days.

Nice to have a target that is biodegradable.
Slightly off topic but a fun target I put together now and then is to use red solo cups (for big) and Dixie cups (for small) and fill them with water and freeze. Slide the ice out of the cup and bang away. Nice reactive target with zero clean up.

I haven’t done it yet but next time I’m going to try to add some food coloring to make the target more visible.

You'd have to be pretty quick on the trigger down here in July & August.

I like water jugs full of water or even plastic water bottles. They blow up so spectacularly.
Unfortunately our range has banned their use. Some folks don't pick up their trash when they're done.

Isn’t that just pathetic! We have the same problem here on a couple of DNR parcels that are available for shooting. People haul in all kinds of trash to shoot, computer monitors, TV’s, ceramic plates etc. Haul it in, shoot it and then leave the mess. A local group of shooters I’m involved with do volunteer clean ups of these sites. We work with the DNR who supply the bags and haul the piles of trash away. Then we have a bbq and a fun shoot. It’s a great day for all.
