Does anyone else get confused with these two different shapes? I’m constantly mix them up and have to check if my SGC is a hex or oct. I can’t even claim I’m going senile because I’ve had this problem all my life.

Nope Oct. is 8, and hex is 6.

An octopus has 8 tentacles. So when you get confused, just remember the octopus. ;)

I also have problems with antonyms, homonyms and synonyms. How many sides do they have.

Not to be confused with a squid, btw, which has 8 arms and 2 tentacles. If we ignore the difference between arms and tentacles and lump them together, you could have a decagon (squid) barrel. Of course, most rifles these days have megagon barrels (aka round). Take that and stick it in your Pentagon.

They don't have sides. They have identities. ;)

When I left town I had taken 6 guns to the gun store to sell. This wasnt the first time as I have sold over 20 at the gun store or other places. They have all sold and most have sold for more than I thought I would ever get and thats after I paid the shop the commission to sell them. Those 6 I took when I left have all sold.

I sympathize. I look at them and think I should sell some, but which one don't I want anymore.
The answer is I don't know. I guess I want them all.
Now if one of my children wanted them, that would be different, but they don't.
Or if a good friend wanted them, maybe. :?

Well, I do have 4 grandsons, not quite ready though, 7 mons., then 4,5, and a 6 yr. old.
Hoping all/part of them may show an interest.
Have given a half a dozen or so to the kids already. ;)
I do have one willed to a friend upon my departure, it's one of the Henrys.

In the same spot here Coop. No one to leave them to. Might as well enjoy a few other things I can do with the money. IRA the gun way and no taxes due
