Never bought anything from them and never will.
There are three kinds of men. The one that learns by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves.

Funny, I met the owner back in the late 90s at a huge law enforcement street survival expo put on by my county. I had a chance to talk to him for about a half hour between our scheduled seminars after lunch.

He asked if I got his catalog, and I told him I did, and told him exactly what I liked and disliked about it. The biggest issue I had was his ridiculously high shipping and handling fees. I told him I had put together several large orders, both professional, as a department academy/firearms instructor, and personal. I tossed the orders when the shipping hit.

He gave me his card, with a code to write on the order form. Use this, free shipping on all your orders. What does that do for the rest? I had asked. We have to make a profit.

I tossed the card, and unsubscribed to the catalog.
The things I would order, I bought locally.

I bought a few things from them a long time ago, before they went totally down the toilet.
But to be fair, dirt ain't cheap anymore either, LOL.

Yeah, CTD has the reputation for horrible customer service, there were stories of back orders being cancelled, then the items were re-listed at much higher prices when they became available. I won’t even consider them for anything.

And I agree, around here dirt is pretty expensive unless you dig it yourself....

Speaking of ammo, check out what happened at a gun shop in Gilmer, TX when they advertised a large shipment of ammo on their facebook page:

Actually, surprised the crowd wasn't larger.
There is a gun show in the town next door tomorrow. Likely standing room only. Reckon I'll be forced to attend, LOL

They are a bunch of price gougers. Anybody that does business with them does so at their own peril.
