Way things are going we might need to mail in our posts and replies! Maybe a Forum in a monthly newsletter?

Without getting political, there are some on some of the other forums I'm on that are thinking the world is coming to an end.

Along the same lines... I know that all of us who enjoy collecting our rifles and pistols, enjoy showing off our collection and even list our inventory on line in various forums. Not wishing to get political, but do you think it wise in today's culture to continue to show the contents of our safes on public forums for all to see? I am proud of what I have acquired over the years but I don't feel it is important to share it with the rest of the public. Just saying...

Are we to become closet shooters and only talk about 2-in-1 washers and dryers?

We own the site, they own the hosting ability. I don't plan to change anything here. There is nothing here a 12 year old couldn't view on their own.

Just in case, it has been and continues to be a nice ride folks.

I think by not allow certain subjects we don’t get too many undesirable buzz words that triggers scrutiny.

If I can not post about lever action rimfires then I’m a subject of the government and not a free citizen. On the other hand I’m not going to post the combination to my safe.

I aint scared.

As the saying goes, let's all just mind our Ps and Qs. We'll be fine.

As long as it’s been since I started using online sites such as this one I figure that horse is out of the barn. I will continue to post here and on another local site I frequent. Like most I’m very careful with any comments I post and just stay in the non-threatening lane. I appreciate that here on the Henry Forum we stay away from politics. Our local site has an off topic forum that can get pretty political. Unlike Facebook and such, our local site is 98% like minded folks who mostly share information but the debates and pi$$ing matches do happen. Several members have been permanently banned and mostly these bans have been the result of political discussions that lead to name calling and veiled threats.

So, rock on Henry Forum!

This forum should be a model to ALL others, thanks to Dave.
I intend to help keep it that way!

Another site , local, I used to visit regularly, now not so much, has posted an announcement, of a backup site, just in case, they get
knocked off the domain. Seems quite a few are running scared. That particular site has been digging it's own hole for a while. So,
I'm not going to lose any sleep there.
As for Henry Forum, this is a nice haven away from all the crap going on elsewhere. I'm glad we don't have the politics, religion, etc.,
that gets folks in trouble. I've been on a few forums, even moderator on one, this is by far the best for a lot of reasons.
So, thanks much Dave, and the rest, for keeping this a good place to put your feet up, chat & relax. Maybe even learn a thing or two.

That's a very friendly invitation, Ken, but it might be best if you edit your post to delete your name and address. I don't think the OP meant to solicit that information from our members.

Heck it can't be worse than social media of which I have never used. I'm not trying to invite trouble either just thought I'd break the ice. and The attack shih tzu pups alert to strangers but they won't bite. The wife and I both keep a 38 handy , you'll be quite safe here. We have suger and coffee creamer to.

Fantastic forum we have here and great folks. No I don't need any addresses. Hope we can just slip through the cracks!
