They had King Crab legs, $35 a lb. and that includes the weight of the shell. :o. I got some prawns and sushi.
steaks are expensive but you can have a good bit of beef for what a little seafood will cost

Well, we went out for our Anniversary dinner all set to have the King Crab only to find out that there
is a supplier shortage. Darn!
Oh well, Carol had two lobster tails and I had a nice Filet with a demi glaze sauce.
It was all good. :D
Just got back from my weekly Fred Myer shopping. They had King Crab legs, $35 a lb. and that includes the weight of the shell. :o. I got some prawns and sushi.

They had some Copper River Coho last week for a similar price, counter guy said it wasn't moving too fast. I had some Copper River Coho years ago and it was very good but not really that much better than any good wild caught salmon.
Dave check out Great Alaska Seafood.com. Ive ordered from them many times because we cant get good fish here in Colorado. Ive always been very happy with what I have got and free shipping if you order 8lbs and as little as for 4lbs on other items

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

When I lived in Virginia it was hard to get good beef. I like corn fed beef and all they had was grass fed, but
good seafood was everywhere.

Now it's the reverse. I have a freezer full of good local corn fed beef, but good seafood is hard to find.
Location, location, location.

The real problem here is that most locals aren't familiar with good seafood and if a restaurant opens
serving just that, they go broke. Here you have to serve beef, pork, chicken, and some seafood to make it.

Love a good steak, but, COULD live on seafood alone. Shellfish, for the most part, however, a good thick piece of Chilean Sea Bass makes my mouth water. Very pricy though!

I'm with you on the sea bass, however, if I can get Halibut that's what I want. :D

tonight it's pork chops. First grilled, then in a baking dish with cream of mushroom soup and a little water
over them. Then bake for a couple of hours. Really tender, flavorful, and good gravy as well. :D

Couldn't figure out what to cook tonight so we went out to the local Mexican joint in town. Had one of their special burritos with shrimp, chicken and steak. They top it with a deep fried onion. :D

Usually, until you order and adult beverage or two. My wife's favorite is a Miami Vice. I settled for a beer.

 Yup, I forgot about that...as much as the meal, or MORE! :D
Shame on them. Make a cheap meal so you'll drink more! Pretty smart!
