So this morning I bought my new pair of Merrell hiking shoes at the local shoe store and they fit great and wore them all day.
It's getting into the evening about 4 PM and time to walk Buster. As I'm putting on my new hikers for a nice break in walk a thought suddenly comes to mind....what if I step in crap?
I haven't stepped in any all year so far so good to go...right? Well as I get into 10 minutes of walk with Buster I start to smell something and look down. Yep my right heel is full of stinky tan crap stuck into the deep treads! Heck...I was walking on side of the street and not into the grass/woods line yet!
Man that is some scary crap to have a thought of it and it happens!!!

Well they are broke in now and hosed them off with a Pinesol rinse.

I'm going to my range property tomorrow and bringing a big gun incase I run up on another weird thought!!

You know you just can't make this stuff up.

There's a positive side to this. It's sort of like buying a new car, you really can't enjoy it until it get's it's first ding.

Once years ago I was putting out round bales of hay for the cows after work...so that meant in the dark..and there was snow on the ground and About zero temp.. and plenty of wind.... back in the days before I had a cab tractor,... so ... let's just say it was COLD.... I suddenly had the passing thought of .. "gosh wouldn't it be a nightmare to have a flat tire in this mess!".... I hadn't went a hundred feet farther when suddenly one of my front tires went flat as a flitter.... and yes... my initial thought was correct... it was pretty much a nightmare..... but I did live through it...... life..... its full of all sorts of learning experiences........
