Guns Magazine Classic Editions free downloads
https://gunsmagazine.com/classic-issues ... -editions/
This is VERY cool, and they add a new issue every month. They started with January 1955 and are up to early 1966 now. Unfortunately the file names are not real clear, so if you download them in a bunch, they get all out of order. Here is an easy way to keep them in order and easy to find. This is for a MAC, I am sure a PC is very similar. If a PC user wants to explain the method he used, go right ahead and comment.
Open the year you are interested in, I will choose 1965. Right click the file name (not the image itself) and select "Download Linked File". This will send the pdf file to your default Downloads folder. Repeat as many times as you like.
Make a new folder called "Guns Magazine Classic", then a subfolder called "Guns 1965". Open that folder. Drag all the files from your Download folder to that folder.
Now they are all in one location, in order. Repeat with a new folder for the next year. On a Mac you can drag the files to Books, so they will appear in your Books Library on any of your devices. I like to load a dozen and read them on my iPad in my spare time. Of course you can just double click the original file and open it on your browser, but I like having them all in one place, in case the website disappears or they start deleting the older issues... FYI I marked the last one as INCOMPLETE so I will know to add more files there in the future. All the other folders have all twelve issues.
Happy reading.

Here is a sample, from August 1961, a very nice epitaph for Gary Cooper.

Thanks, John, I'll look into that. Some good stuff back in the day, better than now.

The ads at the end of each issue are a hoot, this is pre National Firearms Act, so you could buy any kind of gun through the US Mail, and all sorts of cool WW2 hardware for pennies on the dollar. From the January 1959 issue:

Yep! Hence the phrase " the good old days".

Thank you John. I was able to just read one on PDF without down loading it. Very cool.
