When my oldest daughter was 12 I purchased an Appaloosa mare for her. Her friends were all going boy crazy, she went horse crazy.
She eventually won the green hunter competition at the county fair.

Love the pics. My youngest daughter also went horse crazy at that age. We were renting a duplex at the time and she could see no reason why we couldn't keep a horse in our tiny backyard.

My oldest daughter is a shrink in New York state now and says she is still my little girl.
