83° headed to mid 90's today. Can't wait for some cooler riding weather. I did ride the new Harley to the Dr's Thursday to get my stitches out from the melanoma removal. Wishing all a safe day!

54 here this morning, 82 predicted as a high. Sky kind of hazy, wonder if some of it is some from the fires?

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A weather reporter in CT this morning said the thin, high altitude haze overhead was smoke delivered by the jet stream from the West Coast. Otherwise, it's a beautiful, Fall-like day in the Nutmeg state with sunny skies, dry air, and temps in the upper seventies.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
up early (for us) this morning .... as usual, sausage, eggs & Folgers .... as this is being typed I'm sitting in a large waiting room in Raleigh where my wife has a followup appointment after yesterday's cataract surgery .... nothing much on tap for the rest of the day .... we are following Sally, most of the long range projections are calling for a good bit of her rain to come our way .... looks like folks living near where she will come ashore are in for a major rain
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Visibility was down to 437 yards here from all the smoke. It was hard to breath. I suspect your smoke came from here.

Getting a late start this morning. Currently 87° with a high of around 95°. Can't wait for cooler weather. Hope everyone in the track of Sally fares well and those suffering from the west coast fires.

59 on its way to 82 later today .... next to no chance of rain today but that changes drastically over night .... as a result of anticipated heavy rain from Hurricane Sally, we are under a Flash Flood Watch from THU 8:00 AM EDT until FRI 8:00 PM EDT .... switched to bacon this morning to go with eggs and Folgers
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A cool 64 for a high is predicted. Right now hazy and 48, therapy this morning and UGG, appointments dealing with Medicare supplement plans!

60° and raining on the mountain. 1st cup of dark roast coffee is down, and waiting for another. It's going to rainfall day, so indoor activities it is. I always have radios to goof around with. Cheers.
