Took a bad fall late last Thursday nite. Have been in severe pain.
Spent yesterday afternoon in the hospital. Result...rib #'s 7,8 and 9 are broken. Cannot even begin to describe the pain.
Waiting to get scrips, as it was too late after we left the hospital being Labor Day holiday...go figure.

sure hate to hear about the fall and injuries that resulted .... please take care

Thank you ALL!!! for the well wishes. Aside from my back problems, this is some of the worst pain I have ever had to endure.
Gonna be following up with my doctor tomorrow.
In the mean time, have been taking the Percocet as prescribed and Lidocaine patch . Also have a breathing devise to exorcise the lungs as to prevent pneumonia.
Once again, I must thank you all!! Gonna head back up to the cabin as soon as possible to enjoy the Fall, ( Pun intended ).

Well today is rain and rain and more rain. Payback for our great Fall type weekend we had. Going to clean up some 45 ACP brass and start some loading today.

Supposed to start warming up tomorrow.
Went to the range yesterday morning but it started raining and all the paper targets got wet and fell down,
so a bunch of us stood in the shelters and BSd. Still a fun morning. Good friends.
I had my Henry 357 Yellow Boy cased up to take over, then it started to rain and I put it away.
Supposed to go over today for the skeet and trap day but it looks pretty gloomy for that as well.
Probably go and visit anyway.

Leaving today for Montana and South Dakota where it’s even. But, it’s supposed to warm up and should be fine for our trip.

Up early with lots to do prior to departure and the Folgers is mighty fine this morning.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for parts of the Black Hills until noon Tuesday. That includes Lead, Deadwood, Galena and Mount Rushmore.
Accumulations of 6 inches (15.2 centimeters) to 12 inches (30.4 centimeters) were forecast for higher elevations in the Black Hills.

Sitting right now in Bozeman MT, yesterdays drive over the Continental Divide was beautiful. Blue skies and lots of snow on the peaks. We are not scheduled to arrive in the Black Hills area until Friday evening and fortunately the forecast is much improved from the winter storm warning you kindly mentioned.

Don’t know the temp as I was too tired last night to set up the thermometer but it’s cool and clear. Planning a visit to the Museum of the Rockies today which has an incredible display of dinosaurs.

Whether at home or on the road, the Folgers is always nearby.

Last day in Bozeman MT and it’s 37 and clear (still dark but it has to be clear to drop to 37) packing up and heading to Billings today with plans to visit the Custer Battlefield and other nearby attractions. Might stop by the Grizzly Encounter Recovery Center on our way out of town, it was closed yesterday, darn it!

Folgers in the pot is always welcome.

40, overcast and foggy this morning. The weather in Dakota hasn't got here yet.
Coffee and a desert left over from Labor Day. Waste not, want not.
Missed the range yesterday afternoon as I had a dental appointment. It was raining anyway.
Got a note from my cousin in O'Fallon, Il. this morning. Their Grandson's school is going online and his Mother has to work.
My Cousin's wife was a teacher, so she took on the job of homeschooling him with the online routine.
He reports the school's software keeps crashing and the little guy ends up frustrated and yelling at the computer.
Well, at least he can vent his frustration without detention. Course with Grandma watching he'd better watch his language.
