Great weather here. Not too hot. Getting all of our hay delivered yesterday and today. Hay looks great this year. Tea in the Henry mug. Might go to the range later. Have a good day all.

Rain on and off all weekend in Wickiup Junction, OR. Heck only 56 at 1:30, I actually have a small fire in my stove to take the 'chill' off!

Thanks. The hay is very good this year. Timothy, alfalfa with lots of fine bits the horses love. 24 round bales, about 1400 lbs each. Depending on the winter should last to next June. I bought extra so I can get pastures weed sprayed.

Morning all from Jonesboro, GA A rather humid and over cast 74 degrees this morning. There is rain in the forecast, well at least a good chance of rain today. We need the rain here. Nice picture of the barn and hay RR. My grass is a bit dryer than he hay looks to be! lol Be safe and take care.

Morning all, today is to be less humid but the hot humid weather is on the way for the rest of the week. As long as the borough allows, we water the lawn as needed to keep the lawn looking nice. Having some dark roast in the Henry mug this morning. Hope everyone has a pleasant day.

Just finished my cup of double mocha out of the Henry mug. Plan to do a little web "window-shopping" today as I'll probably visit our local cabelas tomorrow on my day off.

Also I won't have the time to get out to a shooting range tomorrow as I have a service maintenance appointment on our power chair lift in our van. Think it's about time to get a new van battery with higher amperage. The lift has been "struggling" recently when raising the chair.

Definitely is more fun shooting my SGC! ;)
Have a great day everyone!

Rained last night and it's always welcome. Mid July and still quite green around here. Tea time and will watch day 4 of the Calgary Stampede rodeo this afternoon on TSN. Tomorrow the wife and I are going to the Stampede to watch some horse stuff in the Ag building. Have a great day.

Morning all from Jonesboro, Ga. A really nice 70 degree here this morning. Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news, we had rain yesterday. A really good shower and man my yard truly needed it. The bad, lost a couple of trees in my yard, nothing damaged thank goodness, but some of my neighbors were not as lucky. The storm that came through packed quite a punch. High winds, heavy lightening and thunder, along with the heavy rain. I will get after the trees later today or tomorrow. But right now, coffee. Be safe and take care.

Mornin' from the Show-Me-State.

Ah, two nice starts to the day. Enjoying my double mocha out of my Henry mug now. And it's been a while coming....but it is 66* at this time and it has been raining overnight. We had a toasty high of 94* yesterday also with very high humidity. One inch water so far in the rain gauge this morning, and still raining.

No outside range day today, but that's okay. The patio plants and burnt-brown lawns are sure needing (and enjoying) this gentle shower. :)
Have a great day, Everyone!

It will be another comfortable, warm day in CT today.

My morning routine includes cleaning the litterbox, putting out the birdseed and suet, feeding the chickens a breakfast of cracked corn, oyster shells, and sunflower hearts, and picking Zucchini blossoms for fritters, a seasonal favorite enjoyed by my wife. All done. Breakfast dishes and kitchen cleanup are next.

Later today, I plan to take my new Skinner Express sight (and it's attached Big Boy) to the range for the first time.

Morning all from Jonesboro, GA. A rather humid 74 degrees this morning. A little rain last night, but some is much better than nothing. I will be cutting up the tree that the storm took down today. Nothing like a little alone time with a chainsaw! lol Take care and be safe.
