Good morning to all, a lovely day here again in south central Pennsylvania. Going shopping for a carpet cleaner today. From the reviews that I have read, the Bissell Big Green Machine carpet cleaner is the one that I will be looking for. My neighbor has one and it works great!

It's another bright sunny day in CT and another day without any planned activities! My kind of day. Enjoy your Fourth celebrations and be safe.

Happy Independence Day to all. It is overcast here today and under a flash flood watch until 8AM tomorrow. I really hope we miss that forecast. Nothing special planned for today at our place. Maybe clean up my gun room and a few rifle barrels that are still dirty from shooting last week. Everyone have fun and be safe.

Afternoon all from Jonesboro, GA. I did not post earlier, I was taking my wife to the Peachtree Road Race. She did great, completed the event, and we are now home. I am proud of her. With the higher than normal temperatures, the relatively high humidity, she completed the course in 1 hour and 23 minutes. Not a blistering pace, but hey, she was able to finish. She said this is her last one.

Raining and foggy here at 4:15 AM. Having a Henry mug of coffee and deciding what to do today. My brother dropped off a 521T Remington I got for him about 6 years ago for me to do the stock finish over so I may get to scraping that old finish off today. I put a Lyman 17A front sight on it for him yesterday while he was here and he was really happy with how well it shot over the factory Patridge front that came on it. Nice old Remington that was made in 1948. I love these older 22's and it doesn't seem to matter if they are Remington, Winchester, or Marlin. I also really like some of the Mossberg target models. We also shot a Beeman pellet rifle he picked up at Walmart for under a $100. It is a China made model and I can not believe how well it shot and how smooth it worked for such a low priced .177 rifle. It also came with a 22 cal. barrel. I offered to buy it from him but he just smiled so I took that as a "no." I may get to Walmart today and see if they still have any left. ;)

It's warm this morning. It was almost 90 yesterday and heading that way today. Off to work, then pick up the farm shares after work. I think it's more garage organization time tonight.

Good morning all from Jonesboro, GA. A rather warm 78 degrees this morning. Still need rain and really no rain in the forecast for the week. Not much planned for today, although, a Henry .22 has caught my eye on a local forum and I will have to check it out. Take care and be safe. The coffee is great this morning.

We got much needed rain overnight, but the rest of the day is forecast to become sunny and dry. I hope so. The air is pretty sticky this morning.

Morning all from Jonesboro, Ga. Nice 73 degrees this morning. Finally had a rogue thundershower drop some rain in my area. Thank goodness. Better chance of rain today, so that means it will not rain. The Henry .22 is still hanging out there, but so far, I have not pulled the trigger, so to speak. We will see what happens. I would really rather have a Silver Boy, but thinking about the steel .22.

Hot and humid here today with a heat index expected to be around 100*. I think I'll spend the day indoors. I know it's hard to decide sometimes, which great Henry rifle to purchase. :D

Today, CT is starting to have its first heat wave of the summer. The windows are shut tight and the cat is annoyed, but the AC is on and it's dry and cool inside. Have a good day.

It is 62* at 5:55 AM. It is probably going to be another steamy day like yesterday which was bad. I have to go clean up some trade-ins at the cycle shop today but it gets hot in there when it gets like this even with the air conditioning on. To much area to keep cooled down. Every one have a nice day and watch out for the heat and stay cool.

Real nice day here, in the 60's this morning, up in the low 70's this afternoon. I checked the RCMP website and they finally received my handgun application and it's being processed. Hopefully they'll issue it before the mail strike which could happen anytime soon...having tea and then out for the day. Have a good one.

What's the good news on art auction? Was she happy about it? Were you?

Looks like another very warm day today. Maybe try to go to the range early if I can. Going to have some coffee and a quick breakfast first. Give a quick listen to this young lady from Philadelphia knock this one out of the park. I never tried this before so it may not work. If it doesn't come through it is worth a listen. Morning all from Jonesboro, Georgia. Already a HOT 80 degrees this morning. Going to be a burner here today. The good thing about the heat is the occasional thundershowers. We were lucky and have had a small thundershower each of the last two days. I hope everyone had a great and safe 4th of July. Oh, picked up a Henry Silver Boy .22. I will post pics in the proper section. Take care and be safe.
