Our Morning Coffee and Weather

I am sure we had the same amount, it's been many days of it. But....not breathing smoke is a blessing this time of year. All good.

The sun is shining this morning and Paige is once again laying in a sunbeam on the Living Room floor, but it won't last long. CT will once again have mostly cloudy skies with afternoon rain showers and scattered T-Storms. Temps will reach a high somewhere in the upper seventies.

Dumped three and a half inches out of my rain gauge yesterday.
No coffee or Oreo's this morning.
Had milk and pills instead.

Got a Dentist visit in an hour. Maybe after that.

Took all my teeth yesterday and I woke up with all new plates and implants.

Just another chapter in my life.

A bowl of Life cereal cause Mikey likes it and a banana around the ole wagon on the prairie this am. Its 55 here headed to 89. The last month of work has started and the 30 day countdown has to.

50's here headed to 70. Rain has stopped and sun trying to come out. Not much doing today, but tomorrow we are off to Calgary. Wife has a painting class she likes to go to (more of a social thing with the gals), and I am driving her. I have to get 5 cans of wood stain that is only available in the city. I will be staining the house and deck this weekend. Approx a 3 day job.

Last summer, I had to have my failing twenty year old implants removed, and then I had to wait six months for the bone grafts to heal before they could be replaced. Got the new implants and temporary teeth in early November and the permanent teeth installed in late March. It was a really long process that cost me the price of a new car, but it was worth it; I can actually eat again! Good luck with yours, Coop.

following a night of being on the fringe of bands of strong thunderstorms we awoke to a somewhat overcast sky .... 64 degrees with 94% humidity .... supposed to hit 87 later today with (thankfully) light for South Dakota wind and at most a 15% chance of more thunderstorms .... as usual, sausage, eggs, Folgers kicking off the day

The logs require maintenance, and the deck only got 1 coat when it was new last year....so just gotta cowboy up and get it done. Not my favorite job so I convince myself that it is and get at it. Come by it honestly I guess, my 90 yr old mother still spends the day in her yard cutting bushes and pulling weeds, then bags them and drags them out to the end of the driveway for pickup. She broke her elbow a couple of years ago and didn't notice for 2 weeks when she finally admitted it was a nuisance and went to the doctor. Tough lady.

Storm never came, got my yard mowed, which I wasn't expecting to get done. Not a bad day.

The backyard temperature is 65° as the morning sunrise begins to pierce a thin eastern cloud cover. After a few days of rain and T-Storms, CT is finally expecting to see mostly sunny skies today with afternoon temps rising into the mid to upper eighties. Enjoy your day.

67 with a beautiful Carolina Blue Sky this morning in east central South Dakota .... they are calling for an afternoon high of 88 .... the good news is, a very low chance of rain .... the not so good news is a very high humidity .... we are off to a late start this morning .... Folgers flowing through a Henry mug, breakfast will come along later

62° and overcast on the mountain. 2 cups of dark roast coffee already down. My turn to cook, so I must wake up. More work around the property today. Cheers

The backyard temperature is 72° and expected to rise into mid eighties this afternoon as rain and T-storms fill CT skies for most of the daylight hours. I'll be thinking a lot about PT7, who lost his wife three years ago today. July is a sad time of year for both of us.
