51° and overcast. It's starting to sound the same. I'm enjoying some dark roast coffee, and trying to wake up. It's my turn to make breakfast, so I better wake up. Watching the news, and just glad I'm not in one of those cities wear all the riots are happening. Hope it ends soon. Cheers!

Thunderstorms overnight wit heavy rain. Looks like rain today as well. Tea in the Henry mug. Not much planned today, sit on the deck and listen to the rain on the roof. Simple pleasures.

50 with a high of 68 and clear. Pot of Costa Rican coffee to get the blood moving. Will keep pruning, cutting and spraying trying to get control of the spring growth spurt especially the poison ivy crop this year. Had 2 ticks Wednesday so it appears plants aren't the only thing thriving this year.
Had to drive 20 miles but found some Madagascar vanilla beans so I think I will make some ice cream this afternoon if my arms are able to turn the crank that much. Hope it turns out as good as I remember.

Our entire county was under a curfew from eight last night to six this morning. Got pretty quiet around here.
Coffee and Oreo's this morning. Clear skies and heading to the high seventies today.
Carol got up early and went to church. It's the first Sunday that churches are allowed to hold services,
although with restrictions. Since they are restricted to a small number of parishioners, I volunteered to stay
home and let one more devout soul get in.
I'm invited to a shooting party this afternoon by a good friend. Trouble is he says lots of friends and lots of beer.
I don't do guns and beer. He's a good guy but some of his friends are a little rough around the edges.
Sorry, but I need to stay home and watch NASCAR.

Good morning all, it’s not raining and hasn’t for the last few days. Might be able to mow the lawn and not get stuck in the mud. Bought a Cosori electric kettle for making pour over coffee. Damn it is good. The keurig is going into semi retirement.

40° sunny and a tad cool on the mountain this morning. Just finished my coffee and waking up. Got a visit to the VA this afternoon, and that's about it. I feel like I've been dropped from a 2nd story window after string trimming half the day. Man am I sore. This getting old thing sucks. Cheers!

I 'll echo that. Headed to the VA this AM. My back is sore from chainsaw work & others. Yep, we're getting too old for this stuff.

63 degree morning with only a few small clouds silhouetted against an beautiful Carolina Blue Sky .... they are calling for 76 later today .... 90+ degree temps on the way for mid week .... my regular sausage, eggs and Folgers starting off the day
