Started off this morning at 67° and is targeting 92° for this afternoon. Starting to feel like summer. We have an expression about our four seasons: Almost summer, summer, still summer and Christmas.

Living in a true four season climate all my life I can't imagine this. Not that I wouldn’t want to give it a try.

Been on and off rainy here in the inland northwest. Everything is green and lush and growing like crazy. My wife and I are going into town today for a Dr. visit for A1C checks and hopefully it will be dry enough this afternoon to mow the lawn. Did a bunch of mowing in the natural growth areas around the house yesterday and for that rain is good....otherwise it gets pretty dusty mowing brush.

Dropped down to 72° last night and targeting 94° for this afternoon. No rain in the forecast until the weekend. Went and got my first haircut since things closed down. Good thing, I was looking like Gallagher.

Coffee and the last doughnut this morning. 62 degrees and supposed to get warmer through the day.
Opened the pool yesterday. Yes, we live on a lake and have a pool. You can swim in the lake if you want, but
it's spring fed and cold! I mean really cold, Right now probably about fifty degrees.

More yard work today. Getting ready for Memorial Day when I spend the morning with the VFW doing
ceremonies for thirteen cemeteries, and then the children all come out for our annual Spring get together.

We’re expecting heavy rain today so I might just head down to my reloading room and finish a large .223 reloading project I started a few weeks ago.

Enough rain that our 600 yard F Class practice is postponed for a week.

Low fog is drifting over the CT River and blocking out the rising sun at my house this morning. The temperature is 40° right now, but it will warm up into the mid-sixties to low seventies under sunny skies once again this afternoon. Enjoy your day.
