Just got a lot happier.

It's kinda like a house. You just get a good foundation and you can improve from there. Next, replace carpet with wood flooring.markiver54 wrote:Wow, sounds great...got the whole package there!

Catfish have always been a little un-unnerving to me though.
I'm a novice at fishing but I remember from many years ago, catching a small bull head. Put my foot on it to remove my hook and that spike went right through the sole of my tennis shoe...ouch! Can' even imagine the swords on the sides of those big ones.

No. California is an awesome place to live, if not for the ppl and politics! If I could figure out what I’d do for a living anywhere else I’d be outa here... I love my farm, just built a new house, have kids in school, both the wife’s and my family are here... sadly I’m probably stuck here for awhile

Hey Ranch Roper is that you next to that tree down by the river?RanchRoper wrote:Can't beat the cow country of southwest Alberta. Suits me right down to the ground. It's not for everybody though. Land of extremes; windy most of the time, 30-50mph is normal. Can have hot summers in the 90's, but dry. -30 in winters frequently. But you can't argue with the view....

I live in NY. Dont care for it at all. The winters are harsh, the taxes are really bad. But despite that my kids and only grandchild are here so thats enough to get me to endure. Ive lived away from family before and that was worse than enduring NY state.

I’m up in the Central Valley, right at the start of the foothills east of modesto. Great weather, close to forests and beaches... the taxes are enough to make a guy vomit ... hoping to be out of here in 10 yrs, kids will all be out of high school by then, I’ll have built up a nestegg... I’m counting it down!

I live in a small village the Netherlands. I used to live in a big city so I realy enjoy the nature around where I live now.
I would love to move to a country with more nature and less people but our children and grandchildren live around here so that is a good reason to stay.
