Dutch, that is a very well kept yard. It looks very inviting and relaxing, except for all the hard work to maintain that. Well done.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Things are looking up here this morning. We have a 1/4 mile visibility instead of the usual 50yds. we have been having for the last several days. There is storms fore cast for today again with possible hail. This weather is getting old fast. Had a cruise-in here in town yesterday and 45 min. after it started the sky opened up and unloaded rain that made it hard to see.
That ended the car cruise. If the air was not so humid I would just stay home today and paint my "truck gun" and get it ready to take to the range. But that is another story. Everyone enjoy what is left of the week end.

for us, today will be a busy one .... tomorrow morning we are scheduled to begin winding our way in our camper from central NC to where we plan to spend the summer in eastern South Dakota .... final packing will dominate today's efforts .... starting the day with a couple of cups of coffee out of a Fort Ticonderoga mug .... we really enjoyed touring the fort, its most certainly on our "We Would Like To Go Back To" list

Good luck with your trip. I spent a lot of summer vacations in South Dakota. Mostly in the Western part of the state and Eastern Wyoming shooting varmints. Quite an experience and unbelievable amount of ammo used up on those trips. They have the best self erecting furry targets on the planet.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
for a few years I spent many good hours helping rid ranch land of gophers .... have actually seen one horse that had to be put down after breaking his leg from stepping into a gopher hole .... unfortunately, the state raised the "Non-resident predator and varmint license" fee to $40 and its just not worth that for me ....bandit1250 wrote:Good luck with your trip. Wyoming and Montana as far as I know is still no license fee if you are going to that area. There was some good prairie dog shooting west of New Castle, Wyoming out Hwy450 going west toward Hwy59 that runs from Douglas up to Gillette. Some areas got closed due to the diseases in the dog towns and the release of the Black footed ferret.

Good luck with your travels. I hope SD is nice for you.
Coffee is with plain jane today. I plan to work on my parents lawn tractor. Hopefully it only needs a tune up.
