The area doesn’t have enough snow plows. It’s not cost effective to buy plows for the worst winters and then not use them again for ten years.

Thanks. I have lived here for 32 years and know most of the neighbors. Some have been neighbors for 32 years. It is really a nice community.markiver54 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 3:56 pmThere's a man after my own heart...3 car garage!!

The second storm is just now starting but it’s already 31 so I expect it to turn to rain. It will be a mess.![]()

Sunday’s storm added another 6” to the snow total. Another 2” waiting for me now to deal with. Fortunately the Arctic blast predictions have changed from lows in the minus single digits to lows in the low single digits.
Sir Henry, while I have never experienced snow in the Seattle area I have seen many reports on the news of the impact. Just the hills alone would make driving difficult. Looks like you’re prepared and even have a snow shovel in operation in the background.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
More snow here overnight but I don’t think a lot. I’m still on my first cup of coffee and haven’t ventured outside.

No snow here today. Where we are at it's been sunny. Went to town on an errand (about 7 mi) and it was sleeting hard. Got back home and notta. Just sun like nothing was happening a few miles away. 37 at the moment and headed into the 20's overnight.

I'll be waking up to single digits in the morning with about 10" of snow already on the ground but a moderate warming trend is on the way.

Got our rig in the shop up the road getting ready for our trip south. Envy you right now.
Coffee in VFW mug. 20 this morning and dropping to below zero tonight. The weather is on a roller coaster.
Up and down, up and down. Better than just down I guess.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
no fog but a cloudy, warm and damp morning where we are camped on Lake Conroe .... both of the camper's 15K BTU AC's cycled on and of all night .... they are off right now but with the heavy feel of the air, they will be switched back on shortly .... 69 on its way to 75 later today with a 20% rain today but it looks like rain is going to move back in over the next 3 days

Ah...another brisk day in the Great White North. Minus 40 degrees. BTW, at that temperature, both Fahrenheit and Celsius meet. It's the point where both systems just say....it's damn cold!
