Woke up to 28, supposed to get up to 36 and light rain so most of the snow should be gone tomorrow it hope. Got the mower deck off the lawn tractor and put on the snow blower, chains and weights. The 6 degree morning last week got me thinking it is going to be an interesting winter.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Been very mild last few days. It ends tonight by the sound of it. Snow the next 24 hrs. I heard from my Uberti dealer today, he is still waiting on his import license renewal (months) and expects news before the end of the month so he can get his shipments and business going again. He did not say my new rifle was not coming, so maybe not a stretch to think it should have a Christmas bow on it. Hope so, getting real anxious to shoot it!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I guess it will show up when it's supposed to. I can get lots of long range style buffalo guns; Pedersoli Sharps, High Walls, etc but not in the caliber I want. I don't need a 45-70. There is a company in Canada that has a Quigley model 45-70 Sharps for $2200 Canadian. That's a great price but not for punching holes in paper and my shoulder.
I will wait. I do have a plan B if he cannot get this coming from Taylors.
