cloudy but very nice day where we are camped at Roanoke Rapids, NC .... high was 74, calling for it to get down to 57 tonight .... they are calling for a high of 80 tomorrow with a 10% chance of rain at our destination, Thousand Trails Chesapeake Campground

I'm a little late for "morning", but just have to say, the weather we've had roll through in the last few days is "extreme" (exaggeration). When I got on my scooter to go home from work Wednesday it was 95º F, pretty hot riding the Harley, but only about 30 minutes so I managed. This morning it was 44º F when I got on the bike to head up to Cabela's in DE to look at guns and stuff...had to put on a couple layers along with chaps.

Been like that over here to till yesterday. 60 when I got on mine yesterday.
Just slipped the jacket on in the morning, but the afternoon was 81.
Perfect riding weather, this coming week highs upper 70's so it will be nice.

I still wear the half helmet until it gets below 35º, but I did have the heated grips on this morning.

Love my Street Glide (and my Jeep). I sometimes miss the Street Bob I rode for 8 years, but not when it's cold/cool. Tunes are always nice too.

Second pic is the day my wife forced me to trade the FXDB off on the bagger, her Jeep is crazy bright green.

Very nice rides Ya got there. Almost bought a Ruby too but opted for my '99 Ford Lightning instead, which I still own with only 30k on it. Went for speed instead.

Those Lightings are pretty sweet, this coming from a guy that is a Chevy guy....that has been driving Jeeps for 30 years. LOL.

I did trade off my first Jeep ('87 Wrongler) on a brand new 2001 Chevy extended cab Z71 when we got back from Korea the first time. My wife "convinced" me to buy a new 2005 Rubi so she could "have" the truck.

I "convinced" her to sell the truck and bring the Rubi to Korea when we got the family command sponsored in 2009. When we came back to the states again in 2014, I expected her to want a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon...she said she wanted a 4 door Rubi, so we bought her a new silver 4-door...it started having nuisances issues and the warranty was about to run out, so we traded it on the green one she has now. The Silver TJ got t-boned in Korea with my wife and daughters in it, the physical damage was limited to the rear axle, and they didn't fix it correctly over there, after paying $1,600 to replace the rear axle shafts, it blew the seals again on my way to the airport a few years ago, so I drove it to the dealership when I got back home and bought the blue JK.

I played with the TJ quite a bit...the JK has been neglected to daily driver when the weather doesn't agree with riding the bike. If it's raining, above 99º, or there's ice on the road, I take the JK.

Just got finished rebuilding the front end where a lady pulled out in front of me.

69° here this morning with a nice little breeze.
I may take a walk around some of the trails on the hunting property today.

48 here this am and windy. Headed to maybe 60. Looks like the bike ride will be indoors. Im not as tough as I once was and I hate whats coming called winter. Really like that lime green 4 door. Id have one myself but the wife has a 2016 Wrangler 2 door with only 21K on it and its paid for. Not fond of buying vehicles

Nice scoot you have also. Sorry to hear about the lady pulling out in front of you, that is the worst. Hope you weren't hurt too bad and are back to 100%. Ride Safe!

Went to the range today....sure is hunting season I guess, there must have been a dozen vehicles there. I just kept on driving, too many shooters there for me. Guys that don't shoot all year and figure an hour at the range will dial them in I guess. Oh well, I'll wait for the cold weather this week and then go shoot. That thins out the herd considerably...
