Hey, I don't know if I want to laugh or cry, but class of '76 biggest album was "Frampton Comes Alive"
Fast forward, not long after that tour the plane goes down in South America and everything is lost. LP Black Beauty included.
Then 35 years later, you get a phone call........

Sorry, don't have the link, however, what a big loss when John Denver's plane went down. He died doing what he loved. He sang songs of this wonderful country and many of the beautiful places.
On the emotional side, if ya can, look up " Annies Song " about his wife. One of my favorites please do!

Can't help but picture RR when I listen to this old classic.
Marshal Tucker is one of my favorites. Please listen till end. Don't worry, I'm older than him, so I'll be pushing daisies sooner than he. Just seems to fit a cowboy!

I am not much for crying, but the imagery in this tune is real good. Chris LeDoux...

Thanks Mark. I like most anything Mark Knophler does. Superb musician/song writer. There's another: "The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" by Gordon Lightfoot. That one will get your attention. Thanks again Mark.

Re: Songs that make you cry.
I have a personal attachment to Gordon Lightfoot, famous for his Edmund Fitzgerald song.
Worked for a contractor many many years ago. Working on a sound studio. I was cutting through a concrete wall with a big saw and a guy leaned in the door and swore at me. Had to shut down, go home and lose a day's pay. It was none other than Gordon Lightfoot himself. Hero of the working man, cursing me and shutting down my job for the day. Guess he was recording in the next room. Well I have the last laugh cuz every time he comes on the radio I swear at him and change the station. Not that I hold a grudge....

Somewhere on some Lightfoot record, if you hear a weird techno grating heavy distortion effect in the background, that's my reciprocating saw...I was way ahead of my time.
