Glad we don't have any of that white stuff yet this season, however, I always welcome a bit, should it come at Christmas. We've had nothing but grey sky and rain for about 9 of the last 10 days. Kinda depressing.
Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
We owed the neighbors for a favor they did for us, so we took them out for dinner at our favorite place.
They're really nice folks. Farm folks. Not like us who are jaded a bit. Anyway, they declined a drink prior to
dinner and then he said, "what if I go for the wild side, what do you recommend?". He had a nice Baily's type drink
and had a good time. She stayed with water.
They're nice folks and we had a really good time. I had a Taqueria Martini and Carol had wine to wash down Prime
Rib with a nice baked potato with "Beer Cheese Soup", (a local favorite). It's really good.

Well watched the local weather and another blizzard is predicted for this week. Just got dug out from the last one. Was headed to one of my son’s house for Christmas. Will have to wait and see, for now it’s a cold one while watching my Packers on MNF. To Randy, Coop, Mark and to the forum, be warm, be well and be safe, cheers

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
I got the plowing pretty much done. Nothing works good when it's 12 below. I had two low tires on the plow
to pump up, and then the battery was low. The four wheeler got me to the barn through the snow OK, but
then it wouldn't start to bring me back. It doesn't like it this cold.
I did get Carol to town for a couple of things and to mail some cards, then I took out the trash and got the
four wheeler to start, so it's back in the heated shop.
Now...........I"m going to take a nice hot shower, have a Maker's Mark, and then she says we're having Taco
Skillet for dinner.
After that, it's my recliner in front of the fireplace and TV until this blows over.
Maybe a martini or two................

20'. Tiny ice crystals falling from the sky. Look like miniature diamonds. Bit of nippy wind too.

Our power went out about 10:30 this morning and we've been running on generator backup since. Just finished our dinner and now sipping on a glass of Woodford Reserve.
Ready for the rest of the evening.

Sorry to hear. So far our power has stayed on. I did have a brief scare this morning when I turned the water back on and it didn't flow. I got out the propane torch and gently heated the pipe where it comes into the garage. I got it flowing but now have some sheetrock to repair.
