Well, it's above zero, a little, and it snowed over night. Been plowing all morning and finally got done. Now the wind is coming up and it's 8 degrees and going to 15 below tonight. Well, we always have this spell of severe winter and probably in a week it will be over.

Morning fellas, I have been in north Fla. for a couple weeks now working. Raining this morning so not much to do today. Have maybe a hour or two of inside stuff we can do.
50 ° here and 20 back home, so kinda glad to be in the warmer climate.

It's 5 degrees feels like -23. Tomorrow they are predicting windchills to dip to -50. Great for home school so the little one can see what happens to boiling water in those temperatures. 1st cup o Joe in the Minneapolis mug.

Yeah, we are participating in the 'Polar Vortex ' too. Single digit temps with wind chills making it dangerous to be out.

I am installing a new floor for my ex. She lives a couple blocks away. The back and forth for tools is a cold deal. But, a worthy project.

It is WINTER! Love this global warming stuff.

Weird warm weather here. Yesterday went over the Willamette pass in the Oregon Cascades east bound. Going up the westside it was in the 50s topping out at 57 at 4000ft before temps dropped down into the 40s at the summit.

Unusual but not rare.
This winter we have been experiencing inversions were it has been WARMER in the LaPine/Sunriver area than Bend on several occasions. One morning it was 41 in LaPine and 26 when I got to Bend!

a gradual warming trend seems to be in place where we are camped in Lakehills, TX .... they are calling for it to reach the 70's by Saturday .... along with the warming trend, there is also an increasing chance of rain .... hopefully those chances will decline .... Henry mug back in steady use .... ;)

It was -33f at 7:00 this morning, didn't make the forecast -39. I didn't mind. High of 35 for Saturday, 42 Sunday, rain Sunday night. It's just weird.
