I hope that you and yours are safe, RanchRoper. I just read an article in the NY Times about a huge fire in Alberta. It sounds like an awful situation there.

We are ok in southern Alberta. Ft Mac is about a 10 hour drive north. 80,000 people evacuated. Hot weather and hi winds. Very bad. We are very dry too but rain in forecast tomorrow. Thanks for asking.

It won't stop raining here. Rain off and on in the forecast until Saturday. We were in need of it but now we could use some nice warm sunny days. There is grass to cut.

Morning all from Jonesboro, GA. Well, it is unseasonably cool this morning, 49 degrees. Nice morning though, good day to get out in the yard. Got some cleaning up to do for Mother's Day. Little chance of rain today, but less than 40%. Take care and be safe.

Still overcast and cool here and just having coffee now and watching Fox and Friends on TV. We will try to plant some of the remaining flowers that we bought the other day and tonight, weather permitting, there is a little league game.

Its 46 degrees here with a high overcast. Perfect weather for a hike. Today's hike will be another warm up and only about five miles.

Cooler and rain in the forecast tonight, but a warm weekend ahead. The wildfire in Ft McMurray Alberta still burning out of control. 1600 buildings and homes destroyed now.

We had some projects up in Ft McMurray. Sure is an out of the way place.
