Trees/bushes dressed in snow sure are beautiful, RR...and 'tis definitely better than a "fire watch!"

What a contrast. It's almost 9pm central time, and it is 80* here. Tomorrow predicted to be near 90*, with dew point of 66*. Fall again fell this week...

We have a snowfall warning until 7am tomorrow, might get another foot. Should be gone by Friday though.

I am in southwest Alberta. About an hour drive north of the Montana border. Right in the foothills of the Rockies.

I live in Evans, Colorado its a city on the south side of Greeley, Colorado. They actually run together so its kind of hard to find on the map.

Going light on the coffee this morning - too hot.

Our AC is acting up and we turned it off - I guess to "save it for later." Still warm (90s and humid) here in South Texas and I'm gonna need the AC pretty soon - like noon today.

Called the AC guy at 8am - too early for him. Hope he'll call back soon.

If he cant make it this weekend I guess I'll spend two days pier fishing. The wind is aways blowing - cooler then in my townhouse, And, I have a couple of new spoons I want to try out. (Shooting is mostly under water and the mosquitos are Thick - and I mean Thick. Can't get a shot off without half a dozen trying to drain you.)

Would welcome a cold front - for better temps and mosquito control.

My sympathy to you. We have them here too. But I think the ones we have on the property are a little weird in behavior. They're thick in the forest floor brush and ferns on the slope down to the creek, but very few of them venture out from there. We can sit in the yard above the slope and not be bothered, yet we can hear their faint swarm. Different story when one walks down the slope, then they do try to drain you.

...Shooting is mostly under water and the mosquitos are Thick - and I mean Thick. Can't get a shot off without half a dozen trying to drain you...

Mosquitos are one thing, but last week they found a 12 foot Alligator in a ditch behind the Dollar Store - can't swat alligators!
