The Freightliner reminds me; a lot of horse owners haul with these, and get them all decked out by a company called Western Hauler...and they are something to behold when all done up nice. Wood trim, leather everything, absolutely beautiful. Same type of deal, they haul huge living quarter horse trailers to national parks, and large events.JEBar wrote:when we buy a vehicle we generally keep it for at least 10 years .... when we are home, my vehicle of choice is a 2011 Chevy Silverado (picture 1) .... it currently has just over 80,000 miles and if things go as they usually do we will keep it for another 5 or so years .... 3 days ago we replaced my wife's '05 Trailblazer with a 2016 Camaro 2LT RS (picture 2) .... being retired, we are able to spend the spring and fall at home and travel in our camper during the summer and winter .... while traveling we tow our camper with a '07 Freightliner Sportchassis (picture 3)

ours is a Sportchassis ( http://sportchassis.com/rha-350 ) .... as you note, they are often used by folks to tow horse trailers .... ours has a bit over 135,000 miles on it .... also as you noted, its interior is really nice .... its ride is exceptionally good, in fact, its ride was our prime motivator in purchasing itRanchRoper wrote:The Freightliner reminds me; a lot of horse owners haul with these, and get them all decked out by a company called Western Hauler...and they are something to behold when all done up nice. The Elio would be perfect for a motor home . Lift the ft wheels off the ground and attach to rear bumper or put it on a wheel dolly .

The spare tire in my old Crown Victoria was bigger than the Elio. But as a grocery go getter while traveling it would be perfect.tx gunrunner wrote:The Elio would be perfect for a motor home . Lift the ft wheels off the ground and attach to rear bumper or put it on a wheel dolly .
