Morning all from Jonesboro, GA. A muggy 68 degrees this morning. Overnight we had some rain, not much, but at least enough to wet the ground. More rain is forecast for today, but again, not heavy rain. Everyone take care and be safe,.

Coffee in the Marylou's News mug today.

I got prescription glasses yesterday. Wow, what a difference over store bought readers. I was so thrilled I ordered a pair of Ray ban prescription sun glasses.

Both are transition bi focals. I can't wait to shoot and see what difference they make.

Off to work soon.

Enjoy your day all.

Made the tea early this morning. Today is the first hike of the season. I hike with a group from the YMCA.

Whenever I feel the urge to go hiking, I try and lie down until that feeling passes.

I love to hike. Last summer I was hiking two and three times a week. I hiked 54 miles in three days over a five day period with 30 pounds on my back. Not bad for a 66 year old boy. I want to hike the Pacific Crest Trail.

That is great, and I am glad for you. I guess that is what keeps hiking boots selling. However, for me and my knees, and I am only 64 soon to be 65, the thought of hiking any further than my mailbox causes my knees to ache! lol Too many years of playing basketball, referring basketball, and running, has reduced my knees to just garbage. Right now, ballroom dancing,(yeah, I know, turn in the man card) is about all I can get through without spending hours icing my knees. Glad you have the ability and the want to go hiking. Oh, did I mention my right elbow is bad, but I believe that is from lifting too many Crown and gingers, but I could be wrong! lol Keep it up and take picture WHEN you hike the Pacific Crest Trail.

I lost 40 pounds last summer and my knees are much better. I hiked today and the weather was perfect. High overcast and in the mid 60's.
