Yep, great race. Of course, I'm a Ford guy, LOL.

Congrats to Harvick. He ran a good race.

Not a bad day for Gibbs. Three in the top five and two stage wins to boot.

Harvick most certainly had the best car during stage 3 and earned the checker

Alright... as I've said, I'm not into NASCAR as much as I used to be. Was a huge Rusty Wallace fan back then.
Ya know what would draw my interest to some degree these days?... lets start turning right on some of these ovals. See how good these guys really are😁. If Ya think about it, they would have more precise visibility when entering or exiting pit row and add some versatility to the experience. I know the road courses test this to some degree, but, why not mix it up a bit?
Maybe time for a bit of a change??

They did implement a Road Course into Charlotte that they call a "Roval" as well as still having 2 other Road Courses on the circuit.

Although I dis-agree with that one and never cared for the others, lol.

I've never been a road course fan .... given driving one takes a different skill set .... my problem with them is its usually like watching a train run by .... little to no passing

Not suggesting switching to road courses. Just turn right on occasion on the ovals. Drivers would have better visibility of other cars on pit road, whether entering or exiting. Is there a reason they don't do this, or is it just because of tradition?
Lets turn right instead of left. Makes sense to go ' clockwise ' as in forward, instead of backward.🤔

May not totally answer your question, but one reason is, it's the opposite of they way they do it in England. NASCAR drivers sit in the left side of the car, like we all do ( except the mail carrier ). Sitting on the left, the driver can see the bottom on the track better,
where most like to run ( shorter distance ). And some is , I guess just tradition. The road courses mix it up & the new Roval at Charlotte.
Personally, I'm not fond of road courses I don't like to run them on my NASCAR similator. Takes a long time to learn the track.
Until you get really familiar with it, you don't know what's over that little rise. Of course the drivers are familiar with it. But they still sit on the left.

If my car blew a tire, I would rather hit the wall with the right side of my car going left than vice-versa

I'll be watching of course, but, NASCAR just went political. I'll leave it at that.

You beat me to it. I was just going to say that was the silliest command I ever heard.

I'm an old hold-out, but Nascar sure is trying my patience.

It's almost like they want to get rid of us.

But the question is Who is going to replace us.

The stands were struggling as it was.

Which reminds me. Are they still talking about that ridiculous 1 Lug Nut change?
