10 f, going to 14f. High winds still. It's making wind chill rough.

Coffee in the NRA mug then back to work. I hope some of you are off for the week.

Enjoy the day and stay warm.

It's a sunny 52° with a mild breeze. Yeah, I wish. It's really 37°, raining buckets and blowing a gale. ;)

-28f here this morning. Chores done and time to relax. Tea time.

Just got back in from doing evening chores. It's warmed up to 8F but with a howling 50mph wind. I'm also nursing a sore shoulder, suspect some torn ligaments but may have to get it checked out tomorrow. Been bothering me for a couple of weeks now. Throwing hay isn't much fun right now. Weather may warm up a little by weekend, so hopefully can get horseback again.

A bit of snow still left on the ground and temps in the mid-30's. I think a lot of us don't comment on other's weather but I always read every post here.

-8f tonight. Well doctor says no torn ligaments in my shoulder but I have destroyed the last of the cartilage in my rotator cuff. Bone on bone now with arthritis. Threw one loop too many I guess. Got some prescription stuff to rub on it and once the weather warms up I'll massage it with the brass stock of my 1860. :)

Getting old isn't for the young at heart. After hiking/climbing last summer I could hardly walk one step without a sharp pain in my feet.

Is it a rotator cuff?

I think he is just pretending to be out on the range but in reality he is at home drinking coffee out of his Henry mug.

That's what doc said. Rotator cuff. Hard to tell though cuz whole shoulder hurts. Oh well. Snowfall warning tonight and we got a foot last night. -12f tonight. Spent several hours moving snow today.
No range riding in this weather! Woodstove and henry mug is right.
