Does the fancy Chinaware make the coffee taste any better, Dave .... or do you just like to put your little pinkie in the air while you drink it?
It's still raining on and off here, by the way, but at least it's warm.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Les, doesn't the pinky just point out like that when you drink from fancy stuff, LOL. I couldn't pass up on those great old dishes. I got them at a yard sale and didn't pay much at all. The woman said she hoped they would get use. I assured her they would. When I find something like that, it goes to use, especially when I paid so little for it. The Stengl has replaced the Wedgewood as our everyday dishes. I may rotate between the three sets on a seasonal basis.
It's going to be a nice day, 60 going to 80. I'm having coffee in my 1985 Scout Jamboree mug this morning.
I hope your day is good.

We are finally getting some relief from the heat. It is expected to only reach the low 70's today.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Nice photograph chuckcook.
Today it headed for the 80's from the high 60's. Coffee today is in the NRA mug.
I returned from a four day weekend at camp. My neck aches from an ass over tea kettle bike incident. I was going down a steeper grade on a road/trail in the back country and hit a large rock in a groove on the trail. Did a complete flip over. Tucked, rolled and came out unscathed. It could have been bad. I rode the brakes a bit harder on the next grades thereafter. LOL.
I hope you have a good day.

Tea in the Henry mug. Smoky from fires still burning in BC. Temps in the 70's all week. Pincher Creek pro rodeo this weekend with a mounted shooting demo.

Fallin sucks when your 60 Dave ask me how I know. Got rained on big time last night on the bike ride. Managed 30 miles but was soaked when I returned home. Im gettin a little tired of this woman in charge of my weather. I might need to retire her. Where did summer go. August here has been real cool.daytime dave wrote:Nice photograph chuckcook.

The ranch is Liberty Ranch in Mimbres, New Mexico Territory. The chuckwagon is the Double R Chuckwagon. I've owned the wagon for 20+ years. We mainly cook at Cowboys for Heroes and Wagons for Warriors events held in different states. Every once in a while we'll haul the wagon to a private ranch and cook for the camp. Our wagon crew is made up of retired military and law enforcement folks.RanchRoper wrote:What ranch or outfit is that?chuckcook wrote:Fixing early morning coffee at wagon camp!

Weather is cooler here too. In the evenings it gets down into the 50's and daytime is only in the 70's. I love leaving the doors and windows only day and night.
